An Airline Dispatcher is an individual who holds a valid FAA Aircraft Dispatcher certificate, and is employed by an airline. Dispatchers coordinate all functions of the airlines to keep flight operations running safely and smoothly. Airline dispatchers, in joint agreement with the Airline Captain, are responsible for fight planning, route selection, fuel load requirements, aircraft legality, and complying with U.S. Federal Aviation regulations.

Must be at least 21 years of age to test.
Be at least 23 years of age to receive an FAA certificate.
Be able to read, speak, write, and understand the English language.
Pass the required knowledge test.
Pass the required practical test
